Luton Urban Radio presents their ‘Community Awareness Day’ taking place on Saturday, 15th December 2018 at the UK Centre for Carnival arts
The day will run from 3 pm until 8 pm and we would be honoured to have your presence at what we hope will be an information packed day.
We have identified and hope to cover the following topics throughout the course of the day:
Youth on Youth crime
Acclaimed author Robyn Travis will be speaking from his heart about his personal journey from a troubled youth now Author and reformed young man.
Wellbeing
Aspire to Inspire will join us on the day and will be discussing young female development and how to avoid becoming NEET. Aspire to Inspire will also have information on _________ health
Yvonne Michele will also being giving our audience a short presentation on personal development
Financial Planning for Non-financial people
40rty will be in attendance where they will have information and be on the ground for discussions around will writing, life insurance, retirement planning etc.
Community Debate
The Diaspora Debating Association (DDA) will be showcasing their debating skills with a chosen topic with audience participation.
Throughout the day Luton Urban Radio will be providing musical entertainment, raffles and community engagement.
We have 2 local upcoming artists who will also be performing throughout the day; Dizzle, Luton’s premier rapper and Samara, Luton’s very own young songstress
There will be food and refreshments through the day as well as an independent retail market selling a diverse range of products
This is a free event for all the community and beyond
